Fundamentals of figure drawing and fundamentals of drawing, by Barrington Barber.

Let me tell you, my drawing has improved! The art class I took wasn’t really what I hoped it would be and I ended up dropping out, but these books have really helped me grasp the mechanics of drawing (anatomy and other such basic knowledge that you might think is boring, but is actually really essential). I hope I continue to improve even more! :D
