i visited there over a year ago to see a dear friend of mine! it was a fabulous city and probably the only other city i’ve visited that i think i could LIVE in. the picture is of e, my friend, being delighted by the surprise snow (she is a born and bred californian, whereas i, as a minnesotan, was far less excited about the snow. haha!~)
i’ll have completed it officially at the end of the week, really. but i am done with all my work now and i’ve got my degree in practice, at least! in paper, soon. i can move on in the fall, i’m going to the u of m. one more semester at the community college so i don’t lose my health insurance, and then on to bigger and better things. i am glad that i finally figured out what i want to do in school and for a career. i don’t regret trying the things i’ve tried in school, but you know. it’s good to feel like you know what you want, and i want to be a heavily tattooed librarian with a bunch of useless degrees who lives with her cat in an apartment full of books, ceramic owls and virgin mary statuettes. fucking right. it’s good to have goals.
