How I did it: this has been on my 43 things for way too long. one day, i woke up from my long (5 year) nap and moved it from my to do list to my phone to my bank account to my car to my running around in a field for 3 days to finally flying. Read how I did it…
best was par today. did you know you have a 1 in 8,000 chance of getting a hole in one in your lifetime if you play golf? Something like that.
It seems folks do a lot of Church Hopping, hoping to find one that “fits” them. I sure did, grew up “Batpitcostal”, and went to every church and synagogue from First Baptist to Last Baptist, Vineyard to Har Shalom to Just Sitting at Home and reading my Bible.
This is the church my wife and I finally found ourselves (literally, too) after we had a 2-month long argument about where to go soon after we got married in an outdoor Messianic Jewish/Christian wedding ceremony. i said i wasn’t going to church because it does more harm that good.
Im afraid that it does for most people.
People are shocked when they find out that we have been going to the same church for 4 years.
