I’ve gone pretty much every other year while growing up, and my appreciation of the tulip fields and Skagit Valley’s beauty has grown with each visit.

I’ve assembled both my admissions portfolios for my two choice art schools and have sent them both off.
It’s been pretty intense, creating two whole portfolios of original works these past few months. But it is minor in comparison to the workload I’ll be enduring in the future. I’m prepared.
I’m ready for art school. I’ve been ready! Now I just have to wait, as everything is out of my hands now. I’ll hear back from both schools in the next few weeks, hopefully, and then I can see where life will take me.
I’m hesitant to mark this goal as done, because as artists we’re never done building our portfolios. But the intention was to finish my portfolio for art school, so for right now, this is going on the “done” list.
