ok, so it turns out that texaserider is making major modifications to the controller hardware after taking inventory from germany… which means taking a risk on relatively unproven technology when compared to the Oxygen MB50. unless I can find myself a decent tech in Santa Monica willing to work on it should anything arise, I’m thinking to err on the side of caution. ( I am NOT willing to pay shipping to Texas every time there’s a problem.. )
all the same, i’ve put my name on the list to get called back when they start shipping. there’s no obligation to buy, and it secures me a lower price, so why not. give me time to broaden my horizons and see what else is out there in the meantime.

just took a look at the site—beautiful. correction: beautiful and smart.

a lofty and worthy goal. sigh ..if only I lived in Dallas!
I’d love to see how you plan to make the (now uniquely web-based) paradigm of social networking via content accessible to an audience more accustomed to ‘traditional’ media. would you say this is a fair assesment of your aim?

2 weeks into it, and still it rocks my world.
Only 3 more days ‘til Verizon annouces availability, followed shortly by T-mobile, and the pressure’s on to sign up new subscribers!
Now’s the time to take advantage: I forced my hand by walking into the Sprint store and pointing out that I could get it online for $319 after rebate ( www.wirefly.com )... i walked out with it for only $300 with a new headset to boot. :)
