:) It’s on its way. It took longer to apply than I’d anticipated, but my upcoming planned trip to England kicked me into gear. Not the worst way to be motivated to do a task, by far. :)

How I did it: 1. Realize that while I can't change my siblings' actions or personalities (e.g. them not calling, texting, writing, visiting, being anti-social or snappish or judgmental at times), I can change myself, my actions, and my reactions. 2. Be persistent but considerate. Don't get calls back? Keep calling, but not more than once a day. Visits keep getting cancelled? Stop by for quick impromptu visits at times I kn… Read how I did it…

I want to travel much more frequently and extensively. This year, I’m starting with a trip to England for a music festival in July. I took the steps of buying tickets to the music festival, making arrangements for a place to stay, and beginning the process of getting my passport replaced (it was lost 2 years ago). I will need to regularly keep track of flight options closer to the time of the trip as I’ll be travelling on standby.
There is no place to obtain or turn in a passport application in my hometown, but I did pay to get my passport photos taken today when I got my driver’s license photo taken. I may need to wait to apply for my passport once I get my new address, as it will not be forwarded, and I hope to move within a month’s time.
