I moved to a very small college with a tight-knit community. I kept an open mind as best I know how, I tried to spend more time around people, and I did my best to be there whenever a new friend needed me. It’s paying off. Being in a new community made the biggest difference, but leaving my room more often helped too!
The Kingston Trio said in “Desert Pete” that “You’ve got to give of yourself ‘fore you’re worthy to receive.” So I also tried to be a friend to the people I met, volunteering to help them whenever they needed a hand.

How I did it
How I did it: Miami Seaquarium. I was ten, and they had a program there. It wasn't terribly expensive, although I don't know the price now. It didn't last as long as I'd like, but it was well worth it. I got to hold onto the dolphin's fin as he swam, and we had the option of being pushed in front of the dolphin (by the feet) too.The dolphin's name was Onyx.
