by E.L. Doctorow. Really good book. Gives an realistic account of the Civil War without getting melodramatic. Introduces a lot of characters, but gives you enough information about them so that you care about them all.
I just realized that half the year is over and I’m adding more books to the list than I’m finishing. I’m moving soon. Hopefully my new digs will be near a better library! =`-`=
