I’ve always loved traveling just for the sake of it, considering the journey often nicer than for the destination.
Going by train or flying always gave me the pleasant feeling of being kind of detached.
Recently I’ve been captured by the idea of a roadtrip – hitchhiking a great distance without a set schedule -.
I yearn for breaking my everyday-life routine, for fresh experience, for days, of which I don’t know where and how they end.
A travel throughout Russia, Mongolia, to China might be nice.
Or going up throughout the Baltic States, through Finland and Sweden, going to down Norway and Denmark back to Germany would fascinate me.
At least I hope I’ll find the courage and right person for it someday.

I went to Paris again to see a few more of the places I originally intended to – and this time I went alone – .
I didn’t have to adapt to anyones schedule and got lot’s of time to think and simply focus on myself. And although I sometimes felt a little lost and the desire to actually share an experience, alone this made it an absolute worthwhile experience, which I plan on repeating.

The time was too short to see everything I wanted (it was just an one-day visit on my way to the Bretagne), but enough to fall in love with the city.
I’ll go back as soon as possible – but then definitely by plane, since the traffic was absolutely horrible.
