How to stop biting my fingernails

How I did it: I told myself every time I put my fingers in my mouth how germ infested my fingernails probably were. After I started washing my hands BEFORE I would have a chewing session...I realized I had a serious habit. So I bought some pretty clear nail polish, nail files, fingernail clippers, hand lotion and other things to keep me motivated to stop biting! learn to play the ukulele
Uke! 9 months ago

I am currently in ‘air uke’ mode. Meaning, I don’t own a ukulele YET. I am practicing quite a bit with my air uke tho. So that should help once I get a real one.

Browsing the web, I’m looking at various ‘student’ ukulele’s and hoping I don’t spend more than $75 bucks on my new venture.

I really want to learn, and I’m starting at the absolute bottom! haha.

Edit: I bought an Applause Ukulele on Monday. I couldn’t wait so I forked out extra for overnight shipping! It should be in my hands tonight!!

I am playing and singing. My fingertips hurt a bit on my fret hand..but other than that, I’m doing pretty well. I have downloaded a lot of sheet music and I bought new strings and have re-strung my uke already! (sounds fabulous!)

I have learned to play! Now…I just want to play BETTER. :D
