Hello,

I work and Live in Durham, I have an idea and would like your thoughts on it:

Bascially what I’m looking for…or “what I want to do” is find other people who are into any type of art: photography, graphic art, 3D animation, painting, woodwork, film etc. (anything creative).

I think it would be cool to start meeting up somewhere to talk about what we have done that week and share our thoughts. Getting artists to come together to meet and talk… and make friends. :)

We can also bring samples of what we are working on. Bring art books for inspiration. Bring some materials and supplies for sketching, doodling, or creating a masterpeice right there!.

The meetings can take place at anyones house or a cafe. There can be a rotating meeting place so no one gets burned out on just one place. I think Durham would be a good place to do it since its in the middle of Chapel Hill and Raliegh.

Please feel free to submit some ideas and responses on this. I’m sure there are some art groups probably already meeting up. But this one is new and free and I really want to try it and see what happens.
