Getting my driver’s license yesterday was more than worth it. It makes your life soo much easier, and so much more independant. I love driving.

How I did it: I went to Spain and lived there for 6 months whilst working as an Au-pair. I learnt some spanish, but definitely not as much as I would have liked. How I did it: I finished high school and decided to not go straight to post secondary. I think it was a good decision for me. This is a great time to get out and see the world, while you are young and don't have as many responsibilities. I am happy I did it, because originally I thought that it was much better to go straight to school. I worked the first 6 months in order to fund my travels for the next 6 months in Europe! How I did it: I went to Spain and work as an au-pair. An au-apair is like a nanny that lives with a family in another country and get's free room and board and a small weekly allowance. It's a cheap way to see a new country and get to experience to real life in a new culture! It was an amazing experience and it was so quick to find a family.
