Last Friday, I went to the Topanga Film Festival for a screening of What About Me? It wasn’t exactly seeing a movie in the theatre, because we were in a paddock on a ranch under the full moon, but it was even better than being in a theatre!
I can’t recommend this movie highly enough, particularly if you enjoyed What the Bleep do We Know? or The Secret. It’s an inspirational movie with a rockin’ soundtrack!
Then Sunday, I found myself at the Feel-Good Film Festival, to watch a Deaf-themed movie called Universal Signs. It’s beautifully shot, and stars Anthony Natale, a friend of mine, who is possibly most well-known for signing “You complete me,” in the elevator in Jerry Maguire. He won best actor at the festival, and this movie really shows his range. Universal Signs would appeal to cinemaphiles and foreign film buffs!
