Forget a bread machine, waste of money…much nicer to get stuck in and do it yourself. Nothing like a bit of kneading to get out all that frustration. Went crazy last weekend and baked own bread, cookies, banana cake, and puff pastry…
Going to bake every Saturday morning…the smell of a warm fresh loaf filling the house is incredible and nothing beats that feeling of self satisfaction.
Go for it!

Hmn. Well…it may not sound very ‘romantic’, but we’ve been together for over 8 yrs…and every now then things get a little routine to say the least. A fun thing we’re doing at the mo is writing a load of weird and wonderful sexual things on bits of paper and putting them in a hat….every Thursday night we both draw one out and spend the weekend trying it out! (‘Have sex outdoors’ was last weekends – thank the lord the weather was good!)
Going back to basics is a good one…spending more time kissing, once in a long term reltionship, that’s often one thing that goes out of the window….after 30 mins of kissing, you’ve forgotten how amazing it feels and that ususally kick starts somethin’!
We’re trying for a baby so that’s definately helping, though god knows how long that novelty will last…;)

Best thing I’ve found is: lessen TV. We now have a rule, it doesn’t go on until 8pm. Might not sound much, but considering it used to be turned on at 5pm and not off til 11pm – that’s a huge improvement. My BF plays guitar and piano more, I read the papers, or call people on the phone or day dream…it’s improved both our creativity. 1 night a week, we turn it off altogether and play board games – chess, scrabble….great fun. Rediscovered listening to music…and the radio…plays etc…are brilliant. Washing up gets done quicker, too. Highly reccomend it. But there are good shows on TV – just need to be more selective…
