But finally I get it. I’ve been reading the book “The Maker’s Diet” by Jordan S. Rubin. Okay, this is the second time I’ve read it honestly. Before I was just starting the diet because I was tired. It didn’t work out because I didn’t have time to cook the meals. This time I’ve learned how to make meals that are acceptable to the Maker’s Diet in a way that’s fits my budget.
I think I’m going to have a little more fun this time. I’m just starting with a few basic switches.
(Instead of ) – – - (To )
Regular or no milk - Goat’s Milk
Brownies —-—-- Dried fruit & Sunflower seeds
Bacon —-—-— Turkey bacon
Steak Beef——-Lamb Chops
Home baked bread —-Ezekiel Bread
Cooking oil —---Coconut Oil
Pork sausage-——-Buffalo sausage
Before I was using coconut oil and I saw dramatic results in my mood and health within a week or two. After I ran out, being a cheap one and buying the regular vegetable oil, my mood changed once again. Also, my IBS came back. Go figure!
I’m moving into a new place soon. After I settle in I plan on growing some tomatoes and basil in my place. Hopefully. I have to ask the landlord if I can get a topsy turvy. https://www.topsyturvy.com
