Training is going well with 9 weeks left to go. I’m not increasing my VDOT like I had hoped but involvement in some Sprint Triathlons has diluted my run training with swimming and biking. The latter is a big time sync. I’m looking forward to increasing the training miles over the several weeks although my feet were hurting a little today.
I’m using the Marathon A Plan from Daniel’s “Running Formula” book and just starting the Transition Quality phase running 32 miles max. per week. Saturday’s long run should be fun. I hope the foot pain doesn’t continue. I also hope I’m feeling OK when finished to get a little bit of biking in that day too.

I’ve done pretty well on the exercise side of things, running about 25 miles a week on average and doing a little strength work in between. The food side has not been consistent enough the last few months. I’ve been realy slacking-off on the WW point counting. That’s going to have to me my focus for the beginning of this year.
Challenge Result on 31-Dec-2008: 225.0 lbs., 35 lbs. Short of goal.
