i called her and we talked for a bit before she went to my sister’s house for dinner. i talked to donnie and alex and bob and trice and nicolle too.

it was cool.
and donnie sounds OLD now.

but yeah.

hi mom.

she’s an interesting girl.
she’s funny and she’s pretty tomboyish.
and she drinks.
and doesn’t mind my cigarette smoke.

but there’s the fact that she’s a bit off her rocker that irks me.
i don’t mind it but she’s teetering.

i’m about to come back around and start dating regular girls again.

i would go 2-3 weeks without calling her. i’ve been making it a habit that if i think about her, i have to call her. even when she isn’t going to be home or available to talk at the time. i’ll call her in the morning and leave a message. i know it’ll feel good to hear her son’s voice when she gets home.

and when we talk it’s for like 40-50 minutes.

when i was younger, i NEVER imagined talking to my mother that long. i didn’t even know she was that good a conversationlist.

i love her tho.
that’s my girl.
she deserves it.
