When I recently needed to replace my furnace, I had to take a look at everything I owed and it scared the daylights out of me! How did I let it get this high? Answer: I’ve always had a good job, figured I would focus on paying it down one day, just got lazy. Right now, I’m paying off the higher interest credit card (and coincidentally, the smaller balance) with larger payments, and paying at least the minimum (but more if I can afford it) on the other one. I’ll get there one day, not sure when. Then there’s the car loan, and taxes and, oh yea, the furnace…
