I’ve actually had about five lucid dreams in the past year, ranging in both depth and duration. Dreamviews is a good information site, but I recommend ld4all.com. Also, there is a Lucidipedia, but I feel the author glosses over a lot of technicalities.

How I did it
How I did it: WBTB (Wake-back-to-bed) method involves letting yourself sleep for five or so hours, until your body catches up on all the deep sleep you need. Then you wake up, don't move or open your eyes for a few seconds. Just try to catch the tail of any dream you may have been having, then write all you can remember down in a journal.
