I live in minnesota, and go up to the north shore of superior every summer, and still haven’t managed to see them…I’m thinking of going up one weekend just for that reason!

...if you actually don’t have anything to do, its pretty sweet to actually get sleep on a school night!
hiking in general is pretty awesome, but i went to the swiss alps this summer with some classmates, and it was amazing. just…being up so high, and being able to look down 2000m and say that you hiked all the way up…its an awesome feeling. unfortunately, our first day was the long day, and we were in clouds the entire time, so we never actually were able to look down and see ho far we’d gone…it made for a lonnnnnng hike!
