put relationship before sex (read all 2 entries…)
Untitled

this is something I’ve realized. As I age more and more, the thing that matters to me is a nice conversation, a hug and to be with someone that makes you happy.

I’ve found that person, and let me tell you the sex is great but it will never top the happiness that I feel when I’m with her.

It’s a bond that’s hard to describe. and it’s a good feeling knowing that there is someone out there that you could be completely straight with, that you could be doing nothing together and be the most fun thing you’ve ever done, and that when things gets tough, that you have a partner to back you up.

Sex could be had like water these days, but a true relationship takes time to mature, and when it blossoms it’s something truely unique.

besides, with the sorta bond that I have with my girl, I have better sex than having sex with some stranger.

it’s worth doing.

don't try to win the battle, win the war.
make life easier on yourself.

Don’t squander your life on the smaller things.

I’ve learned that there are far greater things out there, if you let go of the smaller things in life that bothers you.

You’ll live longer if you stop stressing about the smaller things in life.

But at the end, when it’s time for you to assess your life, are you going to remember the small battle that you won? or the bigger war of your life that you won?

take it easy, and plan your life. Make sure to never get small setbacks in your life get to you. you’ll make it, I know.
