How I did it: Went to a sleep doctor who prescribed a pill I take one hour before I'm supposed to wake up. When my "real' alarm goes off, I am alert and ready to go. What I had been thinking was a character flaw this whole time turned out to be a sleep disorder, and now that I have help, I can really tell the difference between when I'm just being lazy and when I haven't taken my medicine and honestly don't understand what I'm supposed to be doing when… Read how I did it…
After about a 2 year hiatus, I’m back in school starting tonight. I have to take a stupid freshman orientation class, which is a little annoying considering I was a freshman at a state university in 1994, and have been attending the one I’m going to now for four years. But with a two year break, they are making take the orientation, so whatever, at least it’s a start. I need like 66 more credits, apparently, but I can test out of some of them. I think I can finish with taking about 16 more classes. If I were going to school full-time, That’s be a piece of cake, but taking one at a time means I’ll be about 100 when I finish.
I have two days off during the week now, and I want to hold myself accountable for how I’m spending them. I have very aggressive 2008 goals, including mastery of two languages and two instruments. Somehow reading tmz.com isn’t helping me get closer to any of my goals. So, add “Learn more about Britney” to the list, or change how I spend my days “off” and be accountable for it.
