How I did it: One day at a time, one pay check at a time and a little help from my wonderfully generous parents. Keeping and following a very detailed budget for each pay check was the best thing that helped me stay on track. Read how I did it…
I’m not reading Drinking Midnight Wine anymore…I couldn’t get into it.
I’m now reading The Essential Dalai Lama His Important Teachings edited by Rajiv Mehrotra.
I was just looking at my Wish List on Amazon.com, contemplating what books I was going to buy when I turned around and looked at my bookcase and thought “I should read all the ones I already have first.” So, I need to make a list of the books I have. I’ll do it later after I assembly the new three shelf bookcase I bought from Target for $16.00.
Now my water heater is leaking a small amount of water from the bottom. I’m freaking out right now because it’s 10:50pm and I can’t talk to any professional…I have to wait until tomorrow. Hopefully nothing bad will happen between now and then with it. Talking to my parents though, they seem to think it needs to be replaced. Great! That’s probably about $500! Guess I’ll have to put “get out of debt” back on my list. :\
