Grade School Romance is deep.
It sends many girls into tears
Bawling
in the girl’s room.
“I like him, but he never notices me!”
Girls flutter around her.
Consoling.

You can call them dates,
if that is what holding hands
and
going to the movies
and
getting pizza
is.

Grade School Romance is hard
No matter how much you
pretend to like sports
or
put on your sister’s mascara
or
try to look cool,
he won’t notice
“I try so hard and it never works!”

You can call it flirting.
If that’s what giggling everytime he looks your way
and
stealing his lunch
and
calling him and
hanging up when he answers
and
sending him anonymous love notes
is.

But nothing serious. And most things we do end up sounding like some other song. Like one time we wrote a really intro, but the song sounded like “Leaving on a Jet Plane”. I just don’t have the stuff, I guess. I’m in the process of writing a rap (yes, a rap) and I might post it on Youtube.

I got a computer program that should help, and it has! I can almost touch type! Can’t wait.

Yes, this is so worth it! I turned white t-shirts into works of art in 45 minutes! Buy some fabric dye and a bag of rubberbands and do what you want!

I just learned how to crochet this summer, and now I’ve begun a blanket. It’s made of this really soft gray wool I got at swap-o-rama (a clothing swap-meet). I’m only on the third row, but it’s going really fast. I’ll post my progress.

cookies! My favorite part about making cookies is licking the bowl. Crisco makes cookies taste really good, but Crisco gets tranlucent when it gets bad.

My collections always start off with a sudden urge to put a lot of one thing in the same place. Now I have a key chain collection that’s 12 key chains strong.
