Removing Mirena sometime in mid-June.
Aiming to start trying immediately.
Hoping to have it stick sometime between July and September.
We move cross-country in December, so I would prefer to be in my second trimester when having to go through all that.

How I did it: Don't know why I didn't call this lady first, because her business is new, and she gave me a sample of another herb the first time I checked out her store. But when I decided I wanted to search for Matcha, I decided to call a few health food stores in the area, and every single one of them wanted about $14 per ounce...Then I decided to call this lady, and she sells a really really good organic loose variety for only $4 an ounce! I was THRILLED! Read how I did it…
It expired on May 2nd, but new research is suggesting Mirena may be viable for up to seven years, which is two years past what they’d originally suggested. So I figured a month or 2 will be our best option.
I mixed it by eyeballing it, which everyone SWEARS is a horrible thing and to never do it, but I had no problems. It worked perfectly on the first try, and everything went perfect.
I popped them out of the mold like ice cubes once they reached a soft cure status, which was about 24 hours later…then let them sit on a piece of wax paper in a cupboard for another 48 hours to achieve a hard cure. Now they are super hard, super shiny, and AWESOME. Now I just need to wait for my fiance to bring me home some 300 grit sand paper from work so I can file the edges down where the lip of the mold gave a funky edge to each piece. Then I need to figure out a way to add findings to the tops of them to turn them into charms for necklaces. Maybe I’ll make a keychain out of one or two of them.
There were a couple of air bubbles in a few of them, but I noticed more so with the ones with real dried flowers in them, so maybe it’s a chemical reaction. The ones with beads had a couple, but not as many, so I don’t know if it’s chemical and an issue or just coincidence. But it was my first attempt, and it was 95% effective, which is an awesome number for a first try with very little preparation!
