Lost weight but it’s probably water. After gaining weight for the holidays I had noticed that things were a little tighter. Then today I noticed that things don’t fit (I was on the border before). So the weights going down, but the fit of my clothes is getting worse. I’ll haven’t been doing a stellar job. I guess I will give it a little more effort. It’s hard to change such ingrained habits!

How I did it: It was difficult to start trying to get pregnant after a loss. It really took about two months of trying to get pregnant, but the rest of the time I just wasn't emotionally ready. With my son and also with the pregnancy that we loss, the anxiety mostly subsided once we saw the positive pregnancy test. It completely subsided once we heard the heartbeat. With this pregnancy it was difficult to go back to trusting that everything would b… Read how I did it…
I have to say that I am up earlier than I would be if I didn’t have children, but I want to get up earlier. I want to be up when he first wakes, not after 20 minutes of him pulling my hair. He’s a baby so he gets by with it for now, but no one else gets to annoy mommy until she’s awake. I should be up before him so I get my shower done and get a jump on the day. We could spend more time doing fun things rather than waiting for mommy to shower (or load the dishwasher- but I have a separate goal to do that the night before). I guess I should start attacking this by going to be earlier. Tonight the goal is 11pm (we can’t start too fast… baby steps).
Some people are really organized about this thing. I plan on just reading whatever interests me at the time. Right now I am reading “Mindless Eating”. It’s a book about the psychology of eating. I thought it would be interesting and also help with my goal of losing thirty pounds. Last month I read “Fatland”. I used to say I didn’t have time to read, but recently decided that if I didn’t watch as much television, then I had plenty of time to read after my son went to bed. Three hours to be exact.
