All too often the laundry piles up, the dust is thicker than sand and the carpet colour is forgotten due to lack of vacumning (altho, in my defense, my hoover is crap and more trouble than its worth) I really need a laundry day, polish day, hoover day, wash the bedding day so that everything is tidy and I am bnot pulling out my hair!

For 4 long years, I have given up my evenings a weekends so that I could be with my daughter during the day. Its taken me away from my partner, quality family time and lots of great TV shows. She has just started “big school” this week so now is the time to hang up my beer pouring hat, throw myself into the real world and work a nine to five like everybody else.

My blog seems to be bordering on the mundane; its not quite “what I had for tea” but headed in that direction. I would love to write more insightful, amusing posts but never seem to come up with fresh ideas?
