i’ve read it cover to cover twice!! i wouldn’t really say it was worth doing or not, as i’m quite ambivalent to it. but i must say it was a challenge.

the pain was strangely addictive. i’m no sadist, but i guess endorphins kicked in quickly for me, so i didn’t feel too uncomfortable. i’ve always liked tattoos because many of my relatives have had some done on themselves and i like the fact that you own a piece of personalised art. plus the fact that a tattoo is permanent (yes lasering is a way to remove tattoos, but they are still expensive and tricky), it makes you commit to something in a world that is so temporal. to me nothing in lfe is forever, but a tattoo.
thank goodness i don’t have to read another 500 page A4 sized textbook again! but damn, it was worth it, especially since i took a long route to get a degree and while holding down a fulltime job. tough, but i would gladly go through it again simply because of all the wonderful people i met along the way and all the fantastic teachers i had the privilege to learn from.
