First of all, being a graphic designer who can’t draw very well is somewhat of a problem, in terms of expressing ideas visually. And then there is the choice of media- pencil or pen? I usually go for pencil because it can be erased. I would love to learn how to draw in ink, though.
Right now, I feel so inadequate!

Grapeseed Oil
To those who would like some help with the healing process, I’d like to suggest using grapeseed oil. It has worked for my thumbs which I used to bite and chew on until they bled. The wounds got very unsightly, I’d keep my arms folded so nobody would see much of my hands. I decided it was time to do something about that.
My manicurist used grapeseed oil on my hands and she told me that it helped to repair the skin and I noticed how quickly the wounds were healing up. So right now I’m using BodyShop’s Lavender Body Lotion with grapeseed oil in it. What my manicurist used was Cuccio Grapeseed Oil. Both work for me, and my thumbs are healing up nicely. I hope this is helpful information for those with sore fingers and thumbs! :)
