get a nose job
I don't need it to be happy. 2 years ago

People will accept me for what I am regardless of my outer appearance. If they don’t, then obviously they are not meant to be apart of my life. I will no longer allow my parents to waste thousands of dollars on something that makes me feel better and more accepted under the unrealistic terms of society’s “beauty.”

love myself more
I think I've completed this goal now... 2 years ago

I feel like I have learned to accept myself for who I am. I don’t need to follow society’s constant trends and standards of life. I do not need to be rich in order to be happy and I do not need to party every weekend and drink alcohol so I can stay “popular.” Popularity is such an unrealistic term and I don’t want to be apart of it any longer. I am not saying that I don’t want to have many friends but as the saying goes, I’d rather have quality over quantity.

I have started to wear no makeup again. While I don’t think anything is wrong in a little eyeliner or blush, I know that I don’t need it and shouldn’t feel the need to always be done up. I no longer have the desire to get a nose job because everyone is unique in their own way. A big nose is a characteristic that I was given and I should embrace it and not let my parents pay thousands of dollars in order for me to feel accepted in society’s standards of beauty. That is money being wasted when it can be spent on a much more valuable cause. People will take for me for who I am, as I will no longer allow myself to change according to how people would like me to change. I live for myself.
