identify 100 things that make me happy (besides money)

Besides money, eh? I guess that rules out shopping. Hmm, does it also rule out buying things for other people? Because it does have something to do with money. But it’s not for myself, so I think those do count. Alright here it goes. I’ll start with 20, or to whatever number i can get to.

1. when i successfully cook something
2. when what i cook actually tastes good
3. mornings, or afternoons, that i wake up because i want to and not because someone is waking me up
4. receiving & sending out cards – birthday, get well soon, Christmas, etc
5. taking pictures
6. listening to music
7. laughing uncontrollably
8. flowers
9. drinking with buddies
10. a good night’s sleep
11. mani-pedi’s
12. road trips
13. Christmas
14. being with people i love
15. having someone plan stuff for me – i don’t like planning
16. watching CSI
17. holding hands
18. hugs and kisses
19. seeing old couples who are showing love to each other in public places
20. chivalry
21. horse back riding
22. tropical beaches
23. fishes – colourful ones, big ones, small ones, etc
24. realizing i’m not alone
25. eating coconut
26. snow
27. cookie dough ice cream
28. when i am in a blogging mood – once in a blue moon, sigh..
29. discovering and liking songs before most people do
30. bubble baths

Ok, that’s good for now. I suck at thinking about stuff that concern myself, like those surveys on facebook that ask for 25 or however many random facts about yourself. I noticed I lose interest in doing something if someone forces me to do it. I like it better when it was my idea and my decision. =)

I needed help, no, inspiration for this so I was roaming the website for other people’s list. I jacked some, rejected some, and some reminded me of other things that make me happy.

That’s all for now. I hope I remember to finish this. x)

have a photo journal - a photo a day
PHOTO JOURNAL 14 months ago

Wouldn’t it be cool to have a photo journal? Since I don’t have the perseverance to have an actual journal where I write stuff, I’ll just take a photo, one per day. This is an awesome way to sharpen my photography skills. I want to be able to look at this journal in the future and say that I didn’t waste my life, that I stopped to smell the flowers.

I’ll mark this as DONE when I have 100 pictures. A hundred consecutive days of appreciating the little things. =)
