I received my confirmation letter yesterday along with the handbook which talks all about the challenge and the kit I will need to take etc. I’m really looking forward to this. The main things now are I need to get training, fundraising and buying all the kit I need. My lovely boyfriend bought me some wonderful walking boots last week so now need to build up my kit from there.

How I did it: I started by following a training plan to get people running who haven't ran before. This was a great way to get started and it leads you up to a 5k. I felt I could do more so I increased the times myself in the lead up.I did it in 28mins 29secs which is brilliant for me! I just have to keep improving now..... Read how I did it…
Well things have changed somewhat since I last wrote an entry on here. My boyfriend and I have decided not to move in together just yet which we’re both happy about, but I still wanted to do my Access course so I had to find one that I could attend in the evenings whilst I worked. I went in a couple of days ago to do the assessments and have an interview and they offered me a place! I enrolled there and then and I start on 8th September. It’s going to be really hard work as I will be working full time but i’m determined to get through it. I can’t wait to start now!!
For a while now i’ve wanted to go to Primrose Hill one early morning and watch the sun rising over London. I imagine it would be an amazing sight!
Just need to pick a day, convince my boyfriend as i’d like to share it with him, then pack a flask of tea and off we go!
