huzzah!

hooray! serious progress made last night. after feeling sad that my boyfriend was on tour and i was home alone and totally lame, i finally motivated myself to figure out the sewing machine i have had for a year and a half and never used!! and it works just fine! not perfectly, but pretty decent.

make a feather headdress

Basically what I want to make involves two wings from a bird. There are way of preserving bird’s wings after they die (freezing, different chemical solutions) and eventually I would like to create a Hermes-type headdress. Hopefully before the summer begins in earnest.
