I had my first cigarette when I was 12 and I started smoking when I was 14. I finally decided that I needed to quit when I turned 19 and realized I had been smoking for 5 years!! I always used the excuse, “I’m young! I have plenty of time to quit” But I knew that if I didn’t quit now, another five years would go by, and another, and another.. When I first stated smoking I never pictured myself being a “smoker” for the rest of my life. But thats the thing about being young and stupid, you don’t think about the future or the consequences of your actions.
Its been 4 months since my last cigarette and I feel great. I feel much healthier and the difference it has made with my skin is incredible! Plus, I’m saving sooo much money. I mean, don’t you think it’s a little ridiculous to pay for something that is essentially killing you?! And the prices are only going up. I urge anyone who is wanting to quit to do it!! I believe in you! You absolutely wont regret it, I promise. It’s hard but stick with it and you will thank yourself in the end!
