I got my midterms last night, and everything was great. No missing or late assignments! My test scores are great in Language Arts, Social Studies, and science. I’ve been doing pretty good in Algebra, although my last test wasn’t so great. Spanish is going better than last year, but I got a C+ on my last test.
Room for improvement, but I think I’ve worked really hard so far this year.
My teacher, Stephanie, told us this week that when we apply for high school, they look at our first report card for 8th grade when making a decision. So now it’s really important for me to do well.

How I did it: I decided over the summer that in eighth grade, I was going to do my best. Well, we're a little over a month in and although I can't check off my other school related goals, I can with this one. I made myself turn in ever assignment when it was do and about two weeks later, I started to care about the quality of my work and the scores on my tests. Read how I did it…
Yesterday I went to a dance, and I’m qualifying that as exercise. Today I’m not really sure if I’ll be able to, but I think I’m going swimming with some friends. That counts, too!
haha exercise is fun!
So we started off with fitness, two full feild “games” of fox in the hound. Anyone who’s done that knows how bad it kills. So after that, I started to taste blood in my mouth which had never happened before. When I spit though, it was normal color. So anyways practice went on and my throat started to swell a bit so I couldn’t swallow and it was hard to breath. I told my coach and he told me to drink more water, but go on with practice. Coughing started about ten minutes later.
I finished up practiced, and I feel better now, so nothing to worry about. Probably dehydration or something
