I think we’re going a different route. Instead of making more money, we’re downsizing. So that our money will be enough until we can make more. We’re selling our house for a slightly smaller, less expensive home. That’s going to make so much of a difference. Once we are there we will build ourselves back up and see where we can go from there. My husband and I were tired of trying to wade, we were constantly threatened with drowning. Now we will float along. Less storage, yes. But more in so many more imporant areas.

For now I’ll have to put this aside until my daughter is old enough to allow me this kind of time
I had my daughter in May. So far everything has worked out the way I wanted it to and I’m having such a great time being a mommy.
The birth went smoothly. Painfully but smoothly. I had her without any drugs, completely natural. Since then I’ve been soley breastfeeding until I recently began feeding her organic rice cereal and home made baby food. (steamed and pureed pears, so far!) So on that end, I’m being a great parent.
She is such a character already. She is full of passion and happiness. She hardly cries. She’s so easy going, yet full of energy. And so bright!
I can’t wait to teach her things, to hear her first word. She’s rolling all over the place, getting ready to crawl. She sits up on her own. She says “baba dada tata!” and is so beautiful.
I’m surprised at how much I’m enjoying this. I never even wanted to have children! And I am so happy here with her, my little beauty.
