Its pretty. Do it on a wet and showery summers evening rather than during a grim winter flood though!

My hair has been mostly red for the last few years. And I mean bright pillar box red! I mostly love having it this colour, but it can become a cause for anxiety because people do stare and can make snide comments. (Especially in the town where I come from…I’ll say no more!) I say, if you are confident enough then go for it, dye your hair what ever colour you want. (Obviously bearing in mind what your employer/head teacher/parents would have to say about it.)

I remember doing this as a usually relatively well behaved 13 year old while walking home with my best friend from secondary school 10 years ago. We both wrote our initals and when ever I happen to walk past them now, I smile and remember how great being a thirteen year old mostly was. (Though I expect I thought the opposite at the time!!)
