Slowly and patiently I am coaxing the elephant to learn different ways of doing things. Its slow and painful and I feel like I am sitting on a fence between two things right now going no where and it is so slow and so painful. I love you elephant. Thank you for taking the time to learn.

How I did it: I did this today too...I do it a few times a year. As of April last year I made a goal to only keep what I could fit into 3 suitcases (the maximum amount you are allowed to take on a plane) and a backpack. How I did it: I started by taking advice from a friend who was also experimenting with waking up early and comparing the productivity of a day waking up at noon and one waking up around 7 or 8 am. How I did it: Found one subject willing to let me draw on them with markers. Asked what tattoo design they wanted. Ensured that washable markers were used. I also received a tattoo in return! It was fun and made me laugh and reminded me that the simple things in life are so worth it! It is something I have wanted to do for a long time but I am still fairly new to this city and so still have a pretty small circle of friends. It was really fun. Read how I did it…

I am currently going to school and working full time. I’ve also started going to yoga a few times a week. It’s fucking terrifying and thrilling – because I have to rely on myself. I am having a really hard time with this (to not regress and succeed).
I get really freaked out when I do something like this and I don’t want to quit and it is scary and I know that I can do it.
