So this goal seems a little superficial, but I’ve recently started new job where most of the other women have a more polished look than I usually do. I tend to slack off a bit in this department. Plus, when I look in the mirror I’m not exactly thrilled with what I see. Maybe a new haircut, getting rid of the chipped nail polish, a little makeup and some new clothes – but not a major head-to-toe makeover. Plus I’d like to work on my posture and how I carry myself

honesty

When I say my goal is to be honest, I mean more than just not lying. I mean evaluating situations fairly and taking all sides into account, not just what I want to hear. I mean aligning my words and actions with my feelings, thoughts and values. I mean challenging myself to try and find out what really is, not what I think it ought to be.

What I want to do for this goal is be more careful about what I say and think about things. I have a bad habit of exaggerating the negative side of things. For example, not to say things are horrible, when they are merely a minor annoyance.
