has helped reinforce this goal. This morning I was up at 5:30 with little resistance.

I’m going to leave it as a goal, because it really helps to have a reminder. Otherwise I tend to slip into nights that are too late, and not enough sleep.
I’ve long been dissatisfied with my home office. I just couldn’t figure out a good way to arrange all the things I needed in one small room. Yesterday, I downloaded a free trial of the software “Smartdraw.” It’s a software that allows you to draw up floor (and house) plans.
Using Smartdraw, I created a room the size of my office (9’4” x 10’3”). I then created and added the furniture that I have into the floor plan. I could easily see what would and wouldn’t fit – without moving furniture around and around. I tried several arrangements and I think I’ve found one that is workable and attractive – and will allow me to add a comfy armchair or loveseat for reading.
