So I found a house that I really want and need to suit my family. Back in November, I called up the realtor and they advise me to get per-approved for a mortgage loan. For someone who has no knowledge of this, the person advised me to work with a broker that he recommended. So I called up and had the person run my credit and find out if I am eligible for approval. Sadly I wasn’t at that point but he did assure me that If i keep doing what i am doing to improve my rating, in 2 months Ill be at the point that I can make things happen. Well its been now 3 months, its time to go for that loan approval. I am ready to make this dream come true. Here we go.

While visiting my boyfriend/best friend down south, we took a vacation to Baton Rouge for a week so we could attend Mardi Gras that year. On the day of our 6 month anniversary of our official relationship, we spent the day together driving around and visiting his old college Southern University. We decided to go eat lunch while he meets with his business partner. When we got to the place still in the car he asked me if I was ready to receive my gift (which he has been hinting to me for about 2 weeks now that everyone else knew except for me). So I said “Yes” of course and he pulled out a small green box with a bow. I opened the box and there was a ring.he said” you remember the ring i promised that I will get you?” I said “Yes, the promise ring”. “No” he says, “this is the other ring, will you marry me?” With a smile and giggle, I said “Yes, I will”. Sealing our commitment with a hug and kiss. But is was the power of love that made this happen, true love.

I had my website domain & hosting ever since 2006 while I was in college for my Multimedia degree. I had this same splash page that I have done ever since the beginning. With school, working and now a child, I never had the time to actually sit down, design, code and execute a personal website for myself. I have done a portfolio website for myself but it only can be accessed by knowing the sub-domain it’s linked to.

Since my graduation in 2008, I have created 4 websites and worked on 2 websites for contract jobs but still my home-page is just blah. So now that I have a couple weeks left of nothing to do till my new job starts, I will launch my personal website to the world. Don’t worry 43Thingers, you’ll be the first to know.
