How I did it: I was lucky enough to get the opportunity to go to Italy for 10 days with a group from my school. On our trip, we visited Florence, Siena, Cortona, Perugia, Sorrento, Naples, Capri, Pompeii, and Rome. It was a whirlwind trip (lots of bus riding!) but absolutely fantastic. The countryside looks exactly like it does in all of the photos, movies, etc. The air is clean, the people are gorgeous, the food is delicious, the architecture is breat… Read how I did it…
mnairne- I’m in the same situation. I applied early and should hear back by December 15th. Every time I think about going to college, especially this school, I get so unbelievably excited, but then I immediately begin to go into ultimate panic-mode. I’ve been consistently sick this year just thinking about receiving a rejection letter from them. I just want to be in so badly.
my boyfriend and i had been dating for about 7 1/2 months when he broke it off suddenly due to pretty much bullshit reasons. the next week, his father passed away. it was so difficult for me to deal with our breakup and the simultaneous death of his father, with whom i had been very close. another month and a half went by without us talking (aside from the funeral), and it got to be unbearable. finally, we started talking again, and he explained that our breakup had to do with the fact that he was going through so much with his father. so after a couple of weeks, we both realized that the feelings were still there and it just felt right. now that we’re back together, i think our relationship is even stronger than it was before. i feel as though we’ve built up more trust and understanding during our time apart, and it has truly made all the difference in our relationship today.
