OK, this wasn’t really “across” the USA, but it was all the way down the east coast. A lot of fun, and I’d do it again! Rather than take I-95 all the way, we went by way of Ocean City, Maryland and the Chesapeake Bay Bridge-Tunnel in Virginia. This avoids rush-hour congestion in Philly, Baltimore and DC, and the scenery is great.

Running again after 16 years
I quit running at age 29, and just got back into it this year at age 45. The first few weeks were really hard, but now I can do 4 miles without much effort, and 5 miles if I really push. I want to get to 7 or 8 before winter comes, and then work up to 10 in the spring.
I've been to 22 states
