Finally put it on my calendar 7 months ago

Well I decided the only way to guarantee me time is to schedule it so I now have it scheduled for every other day at 7:30 pm. I can ride my bike, do the 10 Minute Trainer videos that I just bought, take a walk at the park, etc. as long as it is something active.

I did miss it yesterday though b/c of a nasty 24hr virus that had me hugging the porcelin god all morning and afternoon.

Presenting sauce to HEB Grocers 7 months ago

Well my distributor called me on Monday to tell me that HEB wanted to meet with him on Friday to discuss additional products in his line. I have a meeting on the 15th of May to perfect the recipe at the manufacturer so I don’t have anything ready to present. He agreed to take “homemade” samples along with container samples, draft labels and anticipated production dates to them. If they like it and agree to carry it on their shelves then I have hit the big time. They are a huge Texas market so that will open many, many doors.

Thank you Jett Foods!

A couple more attempts 8 months ago

Well I have decided to ride my stationary bike on bath nights for the kids and then my mountain bike for nonbath nights when I can take the kids for a long ride. Well, last night was outdoor night. My husband inflated my tires despite my request not to and sent me on my way. I left my cell phone in the car and took the kiddos without shoes on a joyous neighborhood ride. About a mile down the rode I hear this BANG like a shotgun, get hit in my butt by something and start to slightly loose control. I pull off to the curb and look down only to see a flat tire, green sealant everywhere and laughing, barefoot children. I knocked on my neighbors door to use the phone to call my husband to come get us. He is such a wonderful guy….he didn’t recognize the number so he didn’t answer it. Long story short, my lovely me time with the kiddos on a bike turned in to a mile long treck to the house pushing a bike buggy with no handle and herding together two shoeless children…ages 2 and 3!

Here’s to another day and my stationery bike!
