I happened to find a cheap vacation package, but there are plenty of great, affordable places. I traveled there alone, and I don’t even know Spanish. Ticos are the friendliest people. Gorgeous landscape and great diving. I could live there. Sigh…

One tip of advice, flights into San Jose are half the price of flying into Liberia. compare prices and include transportation from the airport to your destination because that can make a difference.

Like a lot of other people, 2009 has been one of the most difficult years of my life. A lot of rugs swept out from under me. Finally, as the year is ending, I feel like pieces of my life are being restructured. I really want to start off the next year with a positive attitude and sense of well-being. In order to do that, I feel I need to make sure I do my due diligence in not dragging anything negative into it with me. I need to make room for all the goodness I can!
