I'm doing 42 things
Today was a pretty spectacular day.. I spent time with my wonderful boyfriend and I know that without a doubt I love him. I’ve fallen head over heals for him and I couldn’t be happier. We shot guns all afternoon and then bumped into my grandparents and they sneakily paid for our dinner… then later he came back to my place and chatted it up with my parents and my mom’s dad (who is very ill). They seemed to connect well and I couldn’t help but think how great he fits in with my family. Even though I’m sure there will be hard times and we’ll fight and argue, there is no doubt about it that he is perfect for me. I hope he knows that.
I’ve always been a firm believer in that love is not just a feeling… it is a choice and a commitment you make to one other person. Feelings will eventually fade, but if you begin a relationship and grow in love then that is what I believe will last a lifetime. Love should be, can be, and will be a forever thing. I’m still learning about this whole “love thing” but I one thing I know – Love never fails.
