we had finally told each other how we felt, and after a party i went up to my room (i live in a naval barracks, everyone’s rooms are next to each others) to go to bed. he followed me to say goodnight and caught me brushing my teeth. (i leave my door propped open because alot of my friends like to stop by). he started for the door and i made him wait until i spit out my toothpaste and i kissed him for the first time in months. then we said goodnight and he left. i went to go read my book and i was only a page in when he reappeared and kissed me much to my surprise. it was up there!
