I don’t understand why it has to be such a challenge and why the school system where I live doesn’t do enough to encourage kids to WANT to succeed in school…

I have to force my kids to study for tests, tests that I only find out about if I MAKE the kids give me the list of tests for the coming month.

I find every day when they come home from school to be a new struggle…

(I have twins boy & girl in 4th grade – my daughter who is in 7th is responsible and does it all herself, without my asking or reminding her).
