I want nice things, from bras to blankets. However, I am also on a budget so I want nice, inexpensive things that I will have to make last forever.

I wish I could say that I have a cool car to “restore” but I actually just want to fix up my 2000 GT Mustang. I bought her four years ago and have systematically driven her into the ground. And I’m still paying on her! I’d like to pay her off and then invest some money into making her gorgeous again. The whole thing needs to be repainted. There’s a dent in the front passenger quarter panel where my brother backed into her and the paint on the custom hood is actually chipping off.
I feel kind of dorky about this. I come from a car family. My parents own three ‘67 Mustangs, a ‘53 Chevy pickup, and a ‘37 Chevy sedan. My fiance has a ‘78 Firbird and a ‘56 Cady. Surely my newish car isn’t cool enough! But, I do so love her. :)
This is my second attempt and, considering that it is October and I only have 47 books on my list, I don’t think that it will happen. I’ve started taking graduate classes and don’t have a lot of time for leisure reading. I’ll keep trying though. If not this year, next year.
