Fuck it. I’m incapable of walking around with a plastered-on grin. People can tell when I’m happy, that’s good enough for me.

I’m a hell of a lot more positive than I used to be. Not AS positive as I could be, but considering that I was a total frigging pessimistic depressed-type wankface before, this is a stretch. I’m not as stressed as I used to be before.
Addendum: actually, I can sympathize with denizen. I often look a lot more angry or down than I actually am. People tell me to “Smile, it can’t be that bad”, and I usually respond with “what? I’m fine…”
Maybe because I can’t always be kickin’ it with a stupid grin on my face? I derno. The hell with ‘em.
Pretty much what Scottie said. I can’t even fathom how people can rationalize some of the decisions that Bush and Company make on our behalf on a weekly (dare I say daily) basis. It amazes me that more people aren’t ticked off about what’s going on, and it amazes me further that people are actually supporting their actions.
Thankfully, they’ve been catching a lot more flak on the Iraq front as of lately, but that’s only due to the sacrifice of thousands of innocent lives. :/
We as the American people have to stand up for ourselves, and we definitely can’t wait for someone else to do it for us.
